• Boys basketball swept Erie High. Varsity completed the season sweep of the Royals with their 53-48 victory. Jake Sambuchino led the way with 19 points. Amaree Pickens and Semontae Lofton each had 12. JVs picked up a 50-26 victory. Cormac Thunell had 20 points for the Ramblers. Freshmen basketball defeated North Catholic, 42-39. 🏀
• Wrestling took part in the Brooke Classic in West Virginia this weekend, finished third as a team. Brandon Byrd (138) took first in his class, while Sam Staab (126), Bo Martucci (150) and Owen Shetler (175) all took second. Keagan Oler (120), Xavier Domkowski (144) and Max Spaulding all took third, while Amir Johnson (113) finished fourth. Aiden Carter (106) and Andrew Gammon (132) both finished sixth. 🤼♂️
• Indoor track took part in the Spire Ohio Preview this weekend. In the boys 200m, DaMario Crawford finished third with a school record time. Luke Brown was sixth in the 800m and second in the 1600m. In the girls 800, Lauren Raimy finished eighth. 👟
Congratulations to Camariyon Bridges ‘23. He has verbally committed to play college football next season on scholarship at Mercyhurst University. This past season, Bridges made 23 receptions for 466 yards and a team-high nine touchdowns. He will play receiver at the next level. #Prep #RollRamblers #StudentAthlete 🏈

• Girls swimming & diving defeated McDowell, 123-60, to stay unbeaten in the Region. Maria Costa, Ellie Natemeier and Haley Palmer all won four events. Jillian Heinrich won three times, while Ellie Brugger won twice. 🏊♀️
• Boys swimming & diving picked up a big Region win over McDowell, 97-83. Mitchell Bradford and Aidan Levis each took four events. Owen Carson won three events. 🏊♂️
• In a varsity-only contest, girls basketball rolled to a 76-21 win over Erie High. Lena Walz led the way for the Ramblers with 20 points. Addie Biel scored 13, while Jayden McBride added 10. The team ventures to Fairview on Monday. 🏀
We were happy to welcome back former president of Cathedral Prep and Villa Maria Academy Fr. Scott Jabo to celebrate our weekly school Mass along with our chaplain, Fr. Jason Feigh, and Fr. Mike DeMartinis today. While celebrating the memorial of Saints Timothy and Titus, Fr. • Wrestling picked up a 42-30 win over Hickory. Owen Shetler (172), Max Spaulding (285), Amir Johnson (114), Sam Staab (133), Bradon Byrd (145) and Xavier Domkowski (152) all had pins for the Ramblers. Keagan Oler (127) and Bo Martucci (160) earned decisions. 🤼♂️
• Bowling rolled into sole possession of first place in the Metro League with an 18-10 victory over Erie High. Elena Kacprowicz led the way with a 519 series and four points. Maja Wasielewski also earned a four-point sweep, while Ava Hensler took three points for the Ramblers. 🎳

• Girls basketball swept Harbor Creek. Varsity defeated the Huskies, 63-14. The Ramblers led 25-2 at the end of one. Four players were in double figures, led by Lena Walz’s 17. Jayden McBride had 16, while Addie Biel and Tori Mayes each had 11. JVs picked up a 46-25 win. Natalie Spano had 14 to lead the way. Katherine McCormick finished with 12, while Leah Major added eight. 🏀
• Girls swimming defeated Erie High, 95-37. Double winners included Chloe Borerro, Maria Costa, Ellie Natemeier, Josie Dufala, Kyan Snider-Mills, Lindsay Armanini and Sara Chase. 🏊♀️
• Boys swimming scored 105 points to win versus Erie HIgh. Colin Troutman and Owen Carson took three events each. Double winners included Matthew Hinman, Mitchell Bradford and Jack Raimy. 🏊♂️
• Indoor track took part in their second NEOITC Conference meet. The Ramblers swept top three of the girls 1600m. Lauren Raimy finished in first place, Anne-Catherine Brown was second and Allison Bender finished in third. Raimy also took first place in the 800m, while Brown finished second. In the girls 4x800 relay, the Ramblers finished in third place behind Sarah Teed, Caitlin Dugan, Regina Torrance and Fina Bannister. Bannister came in third place in the 400m. The 4x200 relay team of David Adams-Prince, Taijoun Williams, Dejoure Hollingsworth and Damario Crawford took third. In the boys 1600m, Luke Brown finished in first place. He took second in the 800m and was first in the 3200m. 👟
• Freshmen boys basketball fell to Erie High, 36-33. 🏀

Congratulations to DaMario Crawford ‘23. He has committed to play Division I football next season on scholarship at Saint Francis University (PA). Crawford had 17 catches and five touchdowns this past season for the Ramblers. Defensively, he made 50 tackles and had a pair of interceptions. • Bowling moved into a tie for first place with a 16.5-11.5 victory over McDowell at Rolling Meadow Lanes. Elena Kacprowicz had the high game of 192. Emalie Thomas and Maja Wasielewski each earned a four-point sweep for the Ramblers. Tamara Bell had three points, while Emaan Hassan had two and a half points in the victory. Their team total pins for the match were 2470, which is the new league high for the year. The girls take on Erie High next Wednesday. 🎳
Students attended the 45th Annual Pro-Life Breakfast held at the Bayfront Convention Center last weekend. They heard from various speakers, including keynote speaker Patricia Sandoval. #Prep
