Last week, our STEMPath program hosted Mr. Steve Seip, director of product management at Wabtec, for a “Lunch and Learn.” Mr. Seip’s presentation focused on his journey as an engineer and his work at Wabtec, formerly GE Transportation Systems. Students were particularly interested to hear about the different engineering and science related fields represented by employees at Wabtec. Afterwards, several students inquired about future internship opportunities at Wabtec. STEMPath students are hoping for an opportunity to visit Wabtec’s engineering and production facilities. Thank you, Mr. Seip, for the informative presentation! #Prep #STEMPath

March was an incredible month of growth, connection, and community impact for our Dance Department!

💙 They proudly celebrated Dance A Difference Week, where our dancers turned their passion into purpose. Through their efforts, they were able to support the Dafmark Creative Arts Program. This program helps provide access to the arts for young creatives in our community.

🩰 They also welcomed amazing guest speakers who expanded our dancers’ knowledge beyond the studio:

• Christina Brown, physical therapist, shared valuable insight on injury prevention, physical therapy, and cross-training for dancers.
• Anne Maleno, owner of Tricryo, introduced recovery techniques that support dancer and athlete wellness.

🌟 These experiences are what make our program so special. We are committed to not only developing strong dancers, but also well-rounded, informed individuals by connecting with professionals and engaging with our community.

Thank you for supporting our dancers’ journey and celebrating the power of dance! #Prep #CommunityThroughDance #DanceEducation

Led in prayer by Kate Patsy ’27, Charlotte Przybylinski ’26, and Bella Speros ’26, students re-enacted Jesus’ journey to Calvary, while narrators shared the stories of each station and those who joined him. Abby Ladaika ’27 closed with a beautiful dance, symbolizing Jesus’ resurrection, to close the program. This newfound tradition prepares our school community for Easter and Jesus' resurrection! #Prep #Faith #Community ✝

Today, members of our school community were able to join others throughout the diocese for the annual Chrism Mass. The bishop blesses the three holy oils used in the sacraments for the next year, which begins with the Easter Vigil. It is also a Mass where the bishop and priests from throughout the diocese are renewed in their commitment to priestly service. This Mass is celebrated during Holy Week before Holy Thursday to offer an opportunity to remember that we are always part of a bigger community. #Prep #Faith ✝️
