• Varsity hockey picked up a 5-2 victory over Bishop McCort. Tucker Kinnear had a hat trick. Chris Bruschi and Ethan Cunningham also scored. Cunningham had a pair of assists, while Bruschi, Charlie McBrier, Ian Brown, and Nick Pugne also had assists. Brown made 24 saves in net. 🏒
On their retreat in the fall, the freshmen class selected their class saint to be Saint Michael the Archangel. Andrea Garnica-Navarrete ’28 recently completed the portrait for the class, which will be hung in the Salata Technology & Innovation Center along with the other class saints. • Girls swimming & diving defeated Mercyhurst Prep, 107-17. Maria Costa won four events. Ellie Natemeier was a triple winner, while Aubrey Bender, Grace McCormick, and Kendal Johnston each won two events. Ange Terrizzi won the diving competition. 🏊♀️
• Boys swimming & diving made it a sweep of the Lakers with an 82-4 victory. JD Cullen and Thomas Fortin were triple winners. Andrew Dutchcot, Josh Bartlett, Jack Raimy, and Adam Clark each won a pair of events. 🏊♂️

• Wrestling went on the road and won the Cliff Keen division title at the Virginia Duals. They won their opening round matchup against Gloucester (VA), 69-3. Kamdyn Borrero (126), Andrew Gammon (144), Gabe Dorman (150), Jaden Crockett (157), Brandon Byrd (165), and Sam Harrington (190) won by fall. Keagan Oler (138) and Amir Johnson (132) won by technical fall, while Mason Gregor (106) and Bo Martucci (175) won by major decision. Davion Edmond (120) won by decision, while Omar Arrington (215) and Max Spaulding (285) won by forfeit. They would win their second-round matchup against Westfield (VA), 70-3. Gregor, Aiden Carter (113), Edmond, Borrero, Gammon, Dorman, Corey Kowalski (215), and Spaulding won by fall. • Girls swimming and diving captured the North East Invitational for the 10th consecutive win at the event. The 200 medley relay of Maria Costa, Jaslene Cage, Ellie Natemeier, and Kendal Johnston took first. Costa won the 200 IM, while Cage finished second. Johnston won the 50 free. Natemeier took second in the 100 fly. Johnston won the 100 free. Natemeier won the 500 free. The 200 free relay of Costa, Aubrey Bender, Johnston, and Cage finished first. Costa won the 100 back, while Chloe Borrero finished second. Cage won the 100 breastroke, while Brianne Ryan finished third. The 400 free relay of Borrero, Ryan, Bender, and Natemeier took second. Costa was named Swimmer of the Meet. 🏊♀️
• Boys varsity basketball hosted the Burger King Classic. The Ramblers won their opening matchup over Aliquippa, 54-46. Nando Mirarchi had 23 points to lead all scorers. He also went 17-18 from the line, both Classic records. They would fall to Archbishop Wood in the championship game, 63-62. The Vikings hit a go-ahead three-pointer with under one second remaining to win. Mirarchi once again led Prep with 32 points. 🏀
• Girls varsity basketball fell to Laurel School (OH), 61-48. Addie Biel led the way with 25 points and 12 rebounds. Seana Thrower finished with 14 points and four assists. 🏀

“During my visit with Dr. Kocan, I learned a ton about what is like in a day of the life of a radiologist. Dr. Kocan specializes is neuroradiology. Throughout my day, I learned about reading neuro x-rays, CT scans, CAT scans, and MRI scans. Dr. Kocan showed me different things to look for in a scan. He also told me that radiologists do procedures which I did not know. I was able to sit in on a Lumbar Myelogram, which was amazing to watch! Overall, my experience was outstanding!” #MedPath ⚕

• Boys swimming and diving made it a sweep with their 134-26 win over the Dragons. Jack Raimy won three events. Callum Snider-Mills, Colin Troutman, Andrew Dutchcot, Adam Clark, and Ben Camera each won two events. Ed Terrizzi won the diving competition. 🏊♂️
After three seasons at the helm, Mike Krahe '00 is stepping down as Prep's head football coach. Krahe posted a 22-11 record and took the Ramblers to a pair of trips to the PIAA quarterfinals.
"I want to express my deepest gratitude to the players and parents for the trust, support, and commitment you’ve shown throughout my tenure," Krahe said. "It has been an honor to be part of this program and to watch the growth of these young men, both on and off the field."
Vice President of Athletics Bill Flanagan '87 said, "We are thankful and appreciative of the work Mike has put into this program over the last three years. He was extremely passionate and dedicated to the young men he interacted with each day."

AFJROTC held a ceremony for their change in command today. The full corps, along with our eighth-grade cadets from Mother Teresa Academy, gathered in the Cathedral Prep gymnasium to witness the changing of the guard. Cadet Lieutenant Colonel Clark Brown ’26 assumed command of the squadron from Cadet Lieutenant Colonel Christopher Reitz ’25. Cadet Lieutenant Colonel Clark Brown ’26 is now corps commander, PA-931. Max Wallace had 13 points and nine rebounds. Cormac Thunell also added 13 points. Nando Mirarchi had 11, while Ahmari Horton finished with 10. JV won their matchup, 47-38. Demario Smith had 10 to lead the Ramblers, while Marco Pfister finished with nine. Varsity would then defeat North East on Saturday, 59-47. Michael Thompson had 18 points. Mirarchi had 16, while Ahmari Horton added 10 points. JV also defeated the Grape Pickers, 60-54. Pfister had 19 points, while Smith finished with 17. Max Santillan chipped in 10. • Competitive cheer competed in the District 10 Championship at McDowell. The Ramblers earned a second-place finish. They hit a zero-deduction routine for the first time in program history set another program record with their score. 📣
Congratulations to Emily Dudenhoeffer ’25. She has committed to play softball next season at Saint Vincent College. Dudenhoeffer helped the Ramblers to their second straight District 10 title a season ago and to a 16-7 record.
