Kayla is currently a professional basketball player in the WNBA for the Minnesota Lynx and plays overseas in the Turkish Super League. After Villa, Kayla went on to the University of Notre Dame, where she played in three National Championships for the Irish under legendary coach Muffet McGraw. During her time at Notre Dame, Kayla was ACC Player of the Year, Sports-Illustrated All-American, Wooden Award All-American and an AP All-American, among many other accolades. She was drafted #3 overall by the San Antonio Stars in the 2014 WNBA Draft and has been named to WNBA All-Star teams three times. Kayla has been playing overseas through her career, and currently plays professionally in the Turkish Super League, where she is a three-time champion. Kayla takes the lessons she has learned through the success in her career and shares them with us in this episode of the podcast!🎙
