Eight of Prep’s MVP students competed and participated in the Pennsylvania Music Educator Association (PMEA) District 2 Choir Festival over the weekend of February 5. The singers prepared a folder of challenging music and through a competitive audition process went up against the 180 top singers from 40+ other high schools in Northwestern Pennsylvania. Congratulations to Theresa Ferraro ’27, Bella Speros ’26, Tia Taylor ’25, Lauren Proper ’26, Niagara Millen ’25, Chris Reitz ’25, Rob Socash ’25, and Lincoln Laquidara ’27 for representing Prep and for their hard work, dedication, and effort! They all placed well, and seven of these students performed so well in their auditions to place for a spot at the Region II Chorus Festival. There, they will have an opportunity to compete for a spot at States.
