On Friday, February 7, we recognized students who received first and second honors at the Second Quarter Session! As part of the event, students hear from alumni who come back to share their wisdom and congratulate students on their academic performance. Aaron Watters ’96 spoke at our second quarter session about his time at Prep. He openly shared with the student body that although he was never an honor student, he was motivated and inspired by his mentors and peers at Prep to always rise up after falling, or “fail forward.” He encouraged today’s Ramblers to believe in themselves and never stop striving to achieve their dreams. The quarter session concluded with recognizing the students who have attained the top grade in their respective classes. The "Men and Women of Prep" honors were awarded to a boy and girl from each class who exemplify good character and leadership. Each top student was recognized before the student body.
