We have all experienced the impact of an extended lake effect snow event, and we hope and pray this note finds you safe and well. We understand that many are still not able to travel safely whether trying to get back to Erie or out of their neighborhoods. We are also working to manage the impact on our school campuses as well to clear parking lots and sidewalks. Given the effect of this snow event, we are going to extend the break for school through Monday, December 2. All classes and extracurricular activities are cancelled.
Our team will be working to prepare for an instructional day of school on Tuesday, December 3. While we hope to be in person, conditions may necessitate that it would be a “flexible instruction day” with students learning remotely. Our academic leadership team will be in touch with you tomorrow afternoon to let you know the plan for Tuesday.
Please stay safe and thank you for your support. We greatly value our community and every member’s well-being. In all matters, we always think first about the safety of our students.
