On Friday, July 19, Reunion Weekend 2024 kicked off with over 350 alumni and guests gathered at Cathedral Prep to celebrate the classmates’ tailgate! Members of the Prep and Villa classes ending in “4” and “9,” from the Class of 1954 to the Class of 2019, returned to reminisce and recount the cherished memories they created during their high school years.
Alumni enjoyed picnic food in the Salata Technology & Innovation Center, a beer garden with live music from Lindsay Vendetti '01VMA, and a special Villa "Party on the Patio" wine and cheese party in the project commons and Villa Maria Project Balcony! Prep and Villa classmates enjoyed looking over the wide variety of memorabilia set up throughout the school, including old school uniforms, yearbooks, and a slideshow featuring students and events at the schools over the years.
Classes held individual activities on Saturday, including classmate-hosted picnics, dinners, and happy hours to name a few. Mass and brunch were held in Saint Peter Cathedral and the Salata Technology & Innovation Center to round out reunion events on Sunday morning, with Cathedral Prep Chaplain Fr. Jason Feigh celebrating. After Mass, alums and their families enjoyed a breakfast catered by Calamari’s. Many who attended these events commented that it was a great way to reconnect with their Prep and Villa classmates from years past.
