This past weekend audiences enjoyed Prep Theatre's final show of the school year, the blockbuster musical “Grease: School Edition!” The show starred 18 of Prep's finest performers who were supported by an amazing and incredibly talented ensemble and stage crew. The show starred Joey Bernatowicz ’26 and Bella Speros ’26 as Danny and Sandy, Calvin Ferry ’25 as Kenickie, and Sammie Elwell ’24 as Rizzo. Also in the cast were Alex Junkin ’24 as Sonny, Diego Ayala ’24 as Doody, Emma Kill ’24 as Jan, and Sara Chase ’24 as Miss Lynch. All four classes, from seniors to freshmen, were wonderfully represented with a total cast and crew of over 50 students in all. Audiences wanted to sing along to favorite songs, “Hopelessly Devoted To You,” “Greased Lightnin',” “We Go Together,” “Beauty School Dropout,” and “You're the One That I Want.” There wasn’t a dry eye in the house on closing day when the eight seniors in the show took their final bows, a Prep tradition. The question on everyone's mind now is, "What shows are we doing next year?" You’ll have to stay tuned! The directors are all very proud of all the casts and crews from this past year and all the hard work this wonderful group of students dedicated to making this program so successful.
