Our final welcome in the group of new faculty members is for Mrs. Tami Kent, who has joined the Cathedral Prep Math Department!
Mrs. Kent earned a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education/Mathematics from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania. Having spent nearly 15 years in education, she brings a wealth of valuable teaching experience to Prep. She’s taught algebra, geometry, and consumer math, as well as various science and history classes in both the middle school and high school settings.
She most recently taught math at Erie Rise Leadership Academy Charter School and is teaching pre-calculus and calculus at Prep this year. Outside the classroom, Mrs. Kent has been involved with her parish, Corry Robotics, 4-H, and Girls Scouts, just to name a few community organizations she’s volunteered her time with. Her strong history of service to her community makes her an ideal fit for Cathedral Prep! Welcome to the Rambler family, Mrs. Kent!
