Endowment for Students

A commitment to offer a Cathedral Prep education to all qualified students, regardless of their financial standing, is a traditional and widely acknowledged strength of the school. We want academically talented students regardless of their family's financial circumstances.

Every Cathedral Prep student receives some form of financial assistance, and we award financial assistance to students with demonstrated financial need each year. Yet, the need for tuition assistance far outstrips the funds currently available. It is imperative to strengthen Cathedral Preparatory School’s financial aid endowment pool to educate talented and deserving students regardless of their family's ability to pay.

 We are committed to:

• Strengthening Prep by accepting the strongest academically talented possible students regardless of their family's ability to pay the full tuition
• Ensuring that a Prep education remains affordable for all families
• Enriching the school community by including a more diverse population

Several current endowment opportunities honor these commitments:

General Tuition Assistance Fund

Gifts of any size designated for financial aid endowment will be pooled in this fund.  Aid is awarded on an annual basis by Cathedral Prep’s Financial Aid Committee.

Named Tuition Endowments

Such gifts can honor or memorialize a family member, friend, or the benefactor. Annually, donors will be sent information about the investment performance of the fund.  Aid is awarded on an annual basis by Cathedral Prep’s Financial Aid Committee.
